My brother got married in Aspen last weekend and it was an absolute DREAM!! Truly a magical weekend full of love and laughter. One (major) perk of my job is that I own a whole lot of handbags, so my mom and I were able to take several bags for test drives during the wedding festivities. Here’s a round up of what we chose!

Bridal Luncheon: For the bridal luncheon my mom wore an amazing Alice and Olivia power suit, so I wanted to pair that with a bag that was classic and structured. The Alma BB in navy epi leather was perfect! Sleek, structured, sophisticated, and big enough to hold all her essentials. And while it does have a crossbody strap, carrying it as a top handle was the move. Tres chic!

Rehearsal Dinner: The rehearsal dinner was “cowboy chic” at the Caribou Club in Aspen. My mom’s dress and boots were perfect for the occasion, and I originally wanted to lean into suede or denim. However, her dress had a decent amount of black and she wore a silver and turquoise belt so I went with this sleek black and silver Louis Vuitton Twist PM in epi leather. She really loved the unique twist (lol see what I did there?!) on the classic LV logo in the locking mechanism. Plus, she enjoyed that she could style it as a crossbody or a shoulder bag. I wore a Lilly Pulitzer brocade dress with tall ivory cowboy boots and thought this little denim Louis Vuitton Speedy Nano was PERFECTION.

The Main Event: My mom wore a STUNNING black MacDuggal dress dripping with embellishments at the shoulders, so we went with the iconic and timeless Chanel WOC Classic Quilted Lambskin. It held her phone and her lipstick and that was all she needed!

My mom looked amazing throughout the whole weekend, but the best part of all was experiencing all the love for my brother and sister-in-law! They are absolutely perfect for each other, and she is the BEST addition to our family! Complete with bears, rainstorms, rainbows and LOADS of fun, it will be a weekend that we remember forever!
