Here at Keeks we believe one of the biggest things that sets us apart from other resellers is our AMAZING store front! There really is nothing like it, and it’s WORTH celebrating! So, come along as we reminisce on the last 8 years at Keeks Plano!

2018

Although Keeks Plano officially opened 8 years ago in 2018, the story starts many years before that. In fact, we called on this space in 2014 and never received a response! Always moving forward, we opened a small store a couple miles south at Preston and Frankford instead. With the growing success of our subsequent small mall stores, we connected with our friend and real estate broker (shoutout to Doug Hanna!) who went to bat for us and got the deal done on our dream Plano location... 4 years after we originally wanted it! The space had obviously been vacant a long time, and was previously part of the salon suites next door, so it took a lot of work to "white box" the space and make it ours. Worth it!

2019

Happy 1st birthday to Keeks Plano!! This store was MASSIVE compared to our other stores, so there was definitely a learning curve to figure out what to merchandise. For the first couple of years, half of the store was Coach, Michael Kors, Kate Spade and Tory Burch! 

2020

COVID hit and since pre-owned handbags are apparently non-essential, we closed the store for 6 weeks on March 22nd. Thankfully, our online team had worked really hard starting in September of the previous year to get most of our inventory listed online, so 2020 was the first big year of Keeks' online sales growth! We listed, authenticated, and posted from home, and then once businesses reopened, we ran the store 5 days a week with a very small (and masked!) crew. 2020 was a VERY strange year, and needless to say we unfortunately didn't get to throw a 2nd birthday party for the store

2021

2021 was a year of being thankful that things were returning back to normal, but it still didn't feel right to throw a big shindig for our 3rd birthday! 

2022

For our 4th birthday we teamed up with my new friends Allie+Bess to celebrate big! We did a giveaway, and finally got to have a fun party in-store! Whoop whoop!  

2023

Our 5th birthday party was one of my favorites! We had a fun schedule of events and celebrated BIG. Moliendo Coffee came in the morning, A. Baker made an incredible birthday cake, and we had charcuterie cups and rosé in the evening. It was an all-day celebration!! Laura West the lipsologist came for lip-print readings, and we even managed to source FIVE Louis Vuitton Bumbags to sell. In 2023, Bumbags were selling within minutes of us listing them, so securing a whole handful was a BIG deal!!

2024

For our 6th birthday we had goodie bags, Moliendo Coffee (by now a staple at Keeks events!), specialty chocolates, and sketch artist Kristyn Potter. It was such a fun time that I hardly got ANY photos!! We also did a week's worth of giveaways on Instagram leading up to the big day, and had a record-breaking number of online orders!

2025

Last year's birthday party was SUCH a fun theme: lucky #7! For our casino-themed bash we had scratch off cards where everyone won a prize and it was our best in-store sales day to date!!

Celebrating Plano's birthday each year is an honor and a privilege that we do not take for granted. Countless businesses fail each year, and for us to celebrate serving up 8 great years in one location is ALL thanks to you, our amazing customers! Our birthday party is the best day of the year for all of us; it is a HUGE reason to celebrate, connect with y'all, and have some fun! We are so proud of the look and feel of our store, our incredible selection of inventory, and most of all, our amazing team. No one can do this alone and teamwork really does make the dream work. I hope you come out and celebrate with us on April 11th!!
